Hells Bells Jean-Baptiste Monge © 2015 --- The Story behind the Picture ---

I did the sketch quite a long time ago and never took the time to make it in color.

I guess it was his hour. I started on January 17th 2015 and finsihed on January 18th 2015.

This little guy in short trousers made me think about Angus Young, the famous guitarist of the Australian group AC/DC. I don't know if he will be pleased to see himself shifted like this, but I did really have fun to do him.

With my Cintiq and Photoshop CC, I added the guitar and my everlasting bell of course to complete the character. The color was a challenge. I didn't want him traditional, red like a classical Hell demon or with human skin shades.

Purple hues came up finally. The flame on his head looked great and so I started.

The title is also a tribute to AC/DC, referring to their song Hells Bells (in 1981) and as I love bells, the choice was kind of obvious.
