Some books are unloved…

If you’re like me and hate throwing things away or destroying perfectly good objects…
Some books follow a slightly more adventurous path than others. Between the printing press, journeys to festivals, the studio, and occasional detours onto storage shelves, a few copies sometimes bear the quiet marks of that journey: a bumped corner, a marked cover, or pages folded during printing. Nothing, however, that truly alters what matters most. The images, the stories, and the creatures that inhabit their pages remain intact.
In a Faerie world, it is well known that objects sometimes keep the memory of their travels. Rather than sending these books to be destroyed, we have chosen to give them a second chance. We call them studio copies. They simply wait to find a reader willing to welcome and cherish them as they are, to open their pages and let escape, as always, a little of that world of Goblins, Faeries and Old Forests.
From time to time, we will add our “unloved” books to this category as we discover them, so feel free to check the page occasionally:
